Here are 8 tips to live by if you want to be a successful woman entrepreneur:

  1. Start with an Idea:  The most successful entrepreneur started with an idea in mind. Whether it is a kind of product they will like to create or a service they will like to offer. It can be a product that doesn’t exist or a service that is not offered yet, everything starts with an idea. The ability to transform the idea into a business will set everything in motion. So, be creative and innovative.

  1. Do not be afraid to fail: Failure is an inevitable part of success from which we learn, every successful person has failed at a point in their life. Do not let the fear of failure stop you from making your dream a reality. Once the fear of failure sets in, you will never have the courage to pursue what you have always imagined doing.

By letting fear of failure get the best of you, no matter how great your business idea is, you have already set your path to failure. Be bold and be a risk-taker, because that’s the only way you can achieve your goals. Never be afraid of trying.

  1. Believe and have Faith: When running a business you will face series of challenges and difficulties. From initial success to losses and other challenges, which are all part of a business process. No matter how difficult it gets, you need to have faith and believe that despite the odds, you will succeed.

  1. Get feedback: Feedback is critical to validate a business. Competitive research can also help you understand what customers want. Read reviews, interview customers to know how they feel about your service or product. Pay attention to negative reviews and ask customers what they wish they were getting out of your service or products that they are not getting.

Make an in-depth analysis of your competition to determine what their strengths and weaknesses are. You should learn from them by making sure your product or service fills that gap for customers.

You can showcase your knowledge by showcasing your knowledge through public speaking, public relation, and/or blogging. To be seen and heard you can start a YouTube channel and podcasts. 10. Excellence is the way forward: for every successful woman, excellence is an important attribute. Do your best at all time, whether you are in business or in any other field, to be successful you should never settle for mediocrity. Excellence should be the norm. To be a successful businesswoman, you have to give your best at all times and always strive for excellence.

11. Networking: to build a large and successful business, you can not do it alone. You need to get over your fear of rejection and network like your business depends on it, because it does. The amount of collaboration that can be gained by a large but close network is invaluable.

12. Have BIG plans: a lot of women often underestimate their potential and fail to dream big enough. You need to tap into the inner reason behind your business and think about the legacy you will like to leave behind.
